January 2026.
So, Christmas is fast receding in the rear view mirror. It's wet and muddy outside and our resident golden dog is a depressing shade of muddy brown - again!
...And I'm busy building my first website in some while.
In the words of the poet - 'Aaargh!'
Last year was all about finishing my degree and having knee surgery- and - yes! it was pretty much at the same time.
Commissions, therefore, were put on hold for a little while. I'm now climbing back, nervously, onto the bucking bronco of life as a freelance artist.
So, where to go next? What to do?
I've been in the illustration industry for more years than I'd like to admit, but never have I found myself considering such a screeching turn in my creative direction.
Over the last year or so, I have come to realise how much I also love the power of words and music and the endless lessons of history. Not to mention playing with lighting effects, and - literally!- trying to find ghosts in the machine.
Follow me, and see what happens, next. To be honest, I'm as curious as you are!
